Jude 14 And Enoch also,
the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord
cometh with ten thousands of his saints, Jude 15 To execute judgment
upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their
ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard
[speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. If Jude, the brother of
Christ quoted from the book of Enoch, one would expect that the same book
also influenced Christ, being reared in the same household. This would mean
that Jesus and his brothers, Jude and James (later the head of the Jerusalem
Church), shared views about the sabbatical calendar preserved in the books of
Enoch and Jubilees, and yet these books are not in the Bible? Very strange.
If Revelation is a record of Christ unveiling the hidden meaning of the Old
Testament and prophecy, then Revelation may reflect some beliefs He and Jude
also found in the books of Enoch and Jubilees. Why were Enoch and Jubilees Rejected?
It is
likely that the book of Enoch and the book of Jubilees were rejected largely
because they preserved a sabbatical calendar, which was deemed as bad
science. The
following system divides time into sevens: In
Enoch and Jubilees, there are weekly sabbaths (52 weeks, or 364 days) and
sabbaticals (365 weeks, or 7 years) and jubilees of 49 years (365 weeks x 7)
and 294 years (49 x 6). What
is not explained is that, since years are actually 365.242198 days instead of
364, there are 1.242198 days missing each year. This accumulates to 365 days
in 294 years. So, in 294 years, 52 extra weeks are needed to make up for the
missing 1.242198 days each year. Instead of adding a day every four years, a
week is added every 28 years. Seven years become 365 weeks instead of 364. This
calendar allows every season of every year to begin on Sunday, the first day
of the week. The 24 priests in Solomon’s temple were following a sabbatical
calendar. They served once every 24 weeks, 13 times in six years. In
contrast, the Pharisees merely began the annual holy days with the new moon
after the spring equinox. 294 years are equal to 303 lunar years, i.e., in
six jubilees.
Deep Valley in the Book of Enoch
Enoch
1:1 Now three Parables were imparted to me, and I lifted up my voice and
recounted them to those that dwell on the earth. Enoch
53:1 There mine eyes saw a deep valley with open mouths, and all who
dwell on the earth and sea and islands shall bring to him gifts and presents
and tokens of homage, but that deep valley shall not become full. 2 And
their hands commit lawless deeds, And the sinners devour all whom they
lawlessly oppress: Yet the sinners shall be destroyed before the face
of the Lord of Spirits, And they shall be banished from off the face of His
earth, And they shall perish for ever and ever. 3 For
I saw all the angels of punishment abiding (there) and preparing all
the instruments of Satan. 4 And I asked the angel of peace who went with me:
' For whom are they preparing these Instruments?' 5 And he said unto me: '
They prepare these for the kings and the mighty of this earth, that
they may thereby be destroyed. 6 And after this the Righteous and Elect One
shall cause the house of his congregation to appear: henceforth they shall be
no more hindered in the name of the Lord of Spirits. 7 And these mountains
shall not stand as the earth before his righteousness, But the hills shall be
as a fountain of water, And the righteous shall have rest from the
oppression of sinners.' Enoch Chapter 54:1 And I looked and turned to another part of the
earth, and saw there a deep valley with burning 2 fire. And they
brought the kings and the mighty, and began to cast them into this deep
valley. 3 And there mine eyes saw how they made these their instruments,
iron chains of immeasurable weight. 4 And I asked the angel of peace who went
with me, saying: ' For whom are these chains being prepared ? ' And he said
unto me: ' These are being prepared for the hosts of Azazel, so that
they may take them and cast them into the abyss of complete condemnation,
and they shall cover their jaws with rough stones as the Lord of Spirits
commanded. 6 And Michael, and Gabriel, and Raphael, and Phanuel shall take
hold of them on that great day, and cast them on that day into the burning
furnace, that the Lord of Spirits may take vengeance on them for their
unrighteousness in becoming subject to Satan and leading astray those who
dwell on the earth.' |
